The supplies and logistics required for this excursion depend on the number of cache hunters going.  The team wants to keep this activity open to all without selling tickets or requiring reservations, acquiring an accurate count of the number of people going will be difficult.

Risk Responses:
Mitigate: The team asks all those who want to go and can make a reasonable commitment to going contact us on the facebook page.  We will list them on the “Team” chapter of this project management plan.  As the day gets closer, the count will become more accurate.
Mitigate: Each cache hunter will be responsible for most of their own logistics.  The team will post a suggested packing list, sources of equipment, and list of others they could share rides with; however, each hunter will be responsible for ensuring they have what they will need to fully enjoy the excursion.
Accept: This is a risk inherent in all geocaching excursions.
Risk Controls:
Mitigating: Cache hunters who are making a reasonable commitment to go have contacted us using the Facebook group set up for this excursion.
Mitigating: Cache hunters that have made a reasonable commitment to go have been corresponding with each other.  There is a suggested packing list posted to the web page set up for this excursion.
Accepted: This is a risk inherent in all geocaching excursions.
